Shipping policy
1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within the contiguous United States (all 48 mainland states). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, APO/FPO addresses, or international destinations unless otherwise arranged through our customer service team.
2. Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) after receiving your order confirmation.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST may be processed on the next business day.

During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be extended. We will notify you if there are significant delays.
3. Shipping Methods and Carriers
Standard Shipping

LTL Freight (For large/heavy items): Most car lifts and large equipment ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight carriers.

Ground Shipping (For smaller accessories): Smaller items ship via standard ground carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS).

The shipping method is automatically selected based on your order's size, weight, and destination.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping options may be available for select items and destinations. Please contact our customer service team at (973) 434-5150 before placing your order to confirm availability and pricing.
4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the shipping destination, weight, and dimensions of your order.

The exact shipping cost will be displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
5. Delivery Information
LTL Freight Deliveries:

You will receive tracking information via email once your order ships.

The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Delivery is curbside or to the end of your driveway. Drivers are not required to enter your home, garage, or place items on pallets.

Someone 18 or older must be present to accept and inspect the delivery.
Ground Shipping Deliveries:

Tracking information will be provided via email.

Most deliveries do not require a signature unless specified.

Packages are typically left at your door or in a secure location.
6. Delivery Inspections & Damaged Shipments
THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR FREIGHT DELIVERIES:

Inspect Before Signing: You MUST inspect all packaging and items for visible damage BEFORE signing the carrier's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading).

Note Any Damage: If you see any damage, no matter how minor, note it clearly on the driver's paperwork (write "DAMAGED" and describe it). Take photos.

Do Not Refuse Delivery (Unless Severe): Please do not refuse delivery for damaged goods unless the item is completely destroyed. Refusing delivery complicates the claims and replacement process.

Report Damage Immediately: Contact us immediately at (973) 434-5150 or contact@garagesuppliesus.com to report the damage. We will initiate a freight claim and arrange for replacement parts or a new shipment.

Concealed Damage: If you discover damage after the carrier has left and the packaging is opened, you must report it to us within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Delivery Delays
We are not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer, or other circumstances beyond our control.
8. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by you.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or refusal, you will be responsible for any return shipping fees and additional fees to reship the order.

You will receive an email with tracking information and carrier details once your order ships. You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website.
